When i started out i was plagued with the thoughts of people stealing my designs and ideas, this led me to become almost turtle like in my approach to internet, hiding my work from everyone and retreating into my shell.
It was only until i let go of all inhibitions and allowed my paranoia to wear itself was i really able to milk the internet.Heres a little lesson learnt for all budding artists and designers if someone has to copy your work in time they will theres no use hyperventilating about that so let go and use the wonderful digital media to the fullest.
Social netwoking and business networking sites allow for the kind of networking and exposure that is truly unimaginable. For instance just last week i had the pleasure of meeting with this bright, lively young lady [who as it turns out is a RJ with Radio Mirchi in Rajkot] lShe had seen some of my work on facebook and was keen on showcasing Pyjama Party designs in her hometown another example of the power of social networking is how we were contacted by this website that covers entrepreneurs and they did a feature on Pyjama Party, have a look at the article

The experiences are endless and ever increasing,so if you are having second thoughts i strongly recommend you brush them aside and jump on the digital bandwagon!!

Starting on a 'Blissful' note
I've always found the first post of every blog the hardest to write. Not because i dont know what to write about but because there are some many things to blog about that i often find it difficult to decide on one.
So i finally got down to it and the very first post on the Pyjama Party news update is about our latest retailer,it is this super awesome store called Bliss tucked away in a quaint little street in Versova lies this rustic, artsy bungalow that will immediately remind you of cottages you'd probably see in Goa or Pondi.
Step inside and its like walking into another world.
The ground floor boast of an awesome range of jewelry from silver and semi-precious to some really interesting fashion jewelry, you'll find the latest designs Pyjama Party has to offer as well :-)Along with jewelry the ground floor also has some interesting apparell in tantalizing shades and hues.
Make your way up the spiral stairway to the first floor which is home to a fabulous array of really interesting home decor,stationary,lamps,mugs...see it to believe it.What i personally liked about Bliss is their abiltiy to source really unique products not the kinda artisy stuff that is also available in the innumerable malls that dot the city.Currently Pyjama Party retails the Masala chai range of funky kettles and cutting chai glasses, our tea light cutting chai holders and our Light your fire range of lanters! They are available in a range of eye-catching colours!!
Another snippet worth mentioning is the Art and craft festival that starts from the 29th of May 2010
